NIKKI: Hey guys! Would you believe it! Yesterday Jonesy and I decided to go over our scrapbook of our 2010 trip "Down Under" (and just simply reminisce) and, well, we somehow found some more pics which we thought we'd lost forever! Here's one of them....


If you recall the last "missing pic" I've shown you [link] , I mentioned whale watching while Jonesy and I were at the Nullarbor Roadhouse, at the eastern end of the Nullarbor Plain and the Nullarbor National Park (man, that's a long description!) during July 30th & 31st of last year, along our round trip "Down Under" [link] [link] [link] [link] :
[...] The entire Nullarbor Plain, most of which includes the Nullarbor National Park, which the Eyre Highway travels through, faces the Great Australian Bight to the south. Only a few places onto this stretch of the highway have direct access to the Bight. Nevertheless it is worth seeing, as the coast line of the Great Australian Bight is characterized by cliff faces (up to 60 metres high), surfing beaches and rock platforms, ideal for whale-watching.

Apparently Mitzi, Jonesy and I got enough downtime that we could drive southwards (she drives a rugged Jeep YJ) so we could do some whale-spotting!

And here we are, during one of those off-times spent whale-watching!

And I really thought we lost this pic forever!
