Who says daughters of wealthy parents cannot enjoy even the simplest pleasures, like pose with awesome automotive machines??

Remember these? [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link]

I know our favourite "not-quite-Paris-Hilton" has been posing with quite a lot of different Australian Valiants—quite enough for her liking, her becoming homesick and all!—but I thought just one more model would do.

Here she is, at what could be a classic car event somewhere in Adelaide, sponsored by the Chrysler Car Club of SA, posing with what could be yet another classic Australian auto: the Chrysler (VE) Valiant.

Produced by Chrysler Australia from 1967 to 1969, it was the sixth version of the series based on the North American platform, which had a 108 in (2,700 mm) wheelbase. The hood and guards were shared with the also new 1967 North American Dodge Dart, with other styling cues otherwise inherited from the North American Valiant. The car features slightly larger body dimensions and greater interior space than the preceding VC Series. The roofline was also flattened out and the rear window was given a concave profile.

The VE range consisted of Valiant & Valiant Regal sedans, Valiant Safari & Valiant Regal Safari station wagons and Valiant, Valiant Wayfarer & Dodge utilities, the latter being a lower-priced version of the Valiant utility. New for the VE model was the high-specification Valiant V.I.P. in both sedan and Safari wagon versions. It used the same body as the lesser Valiants, but featured a more luxurious interior, 273 V8 engine, and also shared the 3 'sergeant stripes' of the VC V8 on the rear quarter panel.

Here is Lo with, in fact, a South African version of the VE Chrysler Valiant, whose front and rear look more akin to the Dodge Dart than its Australian-built counterpart! Still, a worthy classic vehicle.
