Return of the Rebel Dog

Here we go again, another "revisited" of sorts....

From around 11:00 last Thursday (6/08), inside the (relatively nearby) main campus of Red River College.

In case you didn't hear me the previous three times: this place is fortunate enough to have its very own hotdog. From RRC's The Ox (student store) you can get yourself a "Rebel Dog" (8-inch, beef wiener or Polish sausage?) for only $2.50 (taxes included), compared to a few other places you could go and buy a similar one for upwards of $4 or more! And you can fill it with your favourite fixings, among those offered.

Whenever I buy one, I've come to like it with.... one side mustard, one side ketchup, then top with their "Baja Chipotle" sauce (or you could choose BBQ sauce), plus any number/combination of toppings: relish, a small bit of sauerkraut and/or diced white onions* and finish with sliced jalapeños and fried onions*.
[*Although that day, there were pickles but no sauerkraut, and no fried onions at all since that last time in July 2014! ]

Ever since that first bite of one of these back in 2013, I've tried to make a point of coming over and having one or two of these every spring/summer!


RRC's "Rebel Dog"—now there's a quick lunch between classes!
