Just a final thought...

Local radio station 3AW 693 has once again been broadcasting on the grounds of Flemington racecourse all this Melbourne Cup Carnival time. In fact, as I post this, the annual Oaks Day race (held on the first Thursday in November--two days after the Melbourne Cup race itself) will get underway in 24 hours & 10 mins!

Anyway, on Tuesday (Melbourne Cup race day), 3AW was interested in how much the patrons' outfits cost, so they did what they call a CARD POP (a VOX POP with cards... and a jumbo marker!) [link].

Now suppose all the 6TEEN gang (and not just Jonesy & Nikki) were in vacay mode Down Under during this year's Carnival events? Here is how they would've responded (here at Flemington) to that exact same question....!

BTW, if you're wondering why Jen spent more for her outfit this year, that's because she decided to go for one designed by Nicola Finetti [for 2012's Melbourne Cup]. The millinery, which was extra, was designed by Kerrie Stanley [also for 2012].
