: Sunday, August 4th (cont'd) - Just a couple of shots of the three of us girls, trying out our skills as apprentice lifeguards (or, in this case, volunteer surf lifesavers).
 
And yes, I know, we'd also be wearing a yellow patrol shirt and red patrol shorts, certainly if I'm conducting rescues closer to land, and definitely as summer UV levels Down Under are much higher than in Canada.
 
But regardless, as we're going to be making rescues in the water, each of us must wear a patrol swimming cap! The SLSA (and the SLSQ) do not finch on this important piece of gear...
