Excellent Crop This Year....

We don't normally get as much dandelion growth around town this time of year, but this year conditions were ideal.

But if you consider dandelions a major problem, it'll likely get worse down the road now that the province's pesticide ban is in effect.

The city says it's testing an organic spray at a few locations to see if it can be used in the future.

But this new product may never be used city wide as it can cost eight times as much as the chemicals that were used in the past.

To help offset the growing blooms this year, city officials say they're mowing more often.

We shall see. I'll keep you posted.
