WHAT IF all the 6TEEN gang (and not just Jonesy & Nikki) were in vacay mode Down Under on this year's "extra long weekend"—namely, Anzac Day Holiday—culminating, of course, on Azac Day, April 25th. Here is how they would've celebrated (30+ hours ago): among the crowds taking in the dawn service in front of Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance, located in Kings Domain on St Kilda Road. [Yes, it was lightly rainy, but it was still fairly warm, compared to other places the "gang of six" could've commemorated—like, say, Hobart, Perth or Canberra!]
All part of this year's special-yet-simple tribute of mine to all the gallant lads from Down Under (Australia and New Zealand) who, in what would become the battle that defines their mature nationhood, faced tremendous odds going up against the Ottoman Turks at this previous unknown and obscure place known as Gallipoli.
